Underground looking shoot of K at a local club in Rome.

Too bad we ere rushed, I only had time to grab a few shots and didn’t end up working at the pace I wanted to.

The idea behind the shoot originally was to create a small noir-underground based story about a night at a club.

I like the fact that the pics look like frames from a movie.

I just wish I wasn’t rushed out by the owner (…).

Strobist:

Simple 1 light setup made of lastolite 60×60 softbox on stand pointed at model’s face from camera right at about 2 meters from her.

Triggered by pc sync cable.

Editing:

Trying out CS5.

Converted in Silver Efex Pro, adding contrast, structure and grain.

Local adjustments with curves, layer masks and dodge + burn.

Added a little vignetting.
