We were blessed with toys for Christmas, thanks to our two daughters. Watching Gene play with his geo-cache GPS brought a flickr friend to mind that I’ve missed. That makes me think of another who recently went missing. So now you get a bit of my thoughts – when you’ve chatted back & forth for several years with a flickr or facebook friend, you really do become friends. Suddenly, when one goes missing you think of them and worry. How could a friend fail to say goodbye. So here is my promise to you, if you consider me a friend, if I decide to leave I will definitely say goodbye. Remember, that’s an IF – since I have no plans to leave. If I leave and don’t say goodbye then you’ll know that I’m gone and not by my choice to leave.
Fair enough – I expect that from each of you that I’ve been chatting with for several years. I’m sure you must know who you are but the list is probably at least a group of around 20+ that have been around a long time. We don’t say hello every day, not even every week, but often enough to keep in touch. Now promise me that I won’t have to go hunt you down either.
